Property Accountant-Senior

Overview

We are assisting our client, a property management firm in Richmond, in finding an experienced Senior Property Accountant. The role allows the skilled candidate to perform at a high level, and have opportunities for growth. The company is steeped in history and is very stable. They offer an attractive base and bonus and are in an ideal location, accessible to shops and major highways.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages
• Accrual and cash journal entries
• Reviewing operating statements and variance reports
• Prepare monthly income statement variance analysis
• Perform CAM reconciliations
• Interact and communicate with property managers

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Property Accounting and 5 total in accounting
• Recent retail and/or multifamily accounting experience

• Must be proficient in MS Excel
• Experience working in Real Estate related ERP systems a plus
