Junior Accountant (Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant for a contract role supporting a high-volume accounts payable function within a fast-paced accounting team. This position is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, manage a large invoice load with accuracy, and contribute beyond core AP responsibilities when needed.

• Full-time, on-site contract role
• Monday–Friday, standard business hours
• Schedule flexibility may be available once fully established, provided all responsibilities are met

• Process and review a high volume of accounts payable invoices
• Manage invoices across a large portfolio of properties
• Perform final reviews to ensure accuracy, proper coding, and approvals
• Identify and resolve discrepancies prior to posting
• Maintain organized and timely invoice processing workflows
• Provide support with additional accounting functions as needed,
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Other general accounting support tasks

• Prior hands‑on accounting or accounts payable experience required
• Proven ability to manage high invoice volumes in a deadline‑driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and be productive quickly
• Experience with accounting systems such as Yardi and invoice automation platforms preferred
• Accounting degree not required; relevant experience is highly valued
