Client Services Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly client-focused Client Services Bookkeeper to serve as the primary point of contact for bookkeeping clients. This role is heavily client-facing and centered on relationship management, communication, and bookkeeping-related support—rather than day-to-day transactional bookkeeping.

• Serve as the main liaison for assigned clients, leading all client calls, meetings, and ongoing communications.
• Answer client questions related to bookkeeping, accounting processes, reports, and timelines.
• Translate bookkeeping and financial information into clear, client-friendly explanations.
• Coordinate closely with internal bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively manage client expectations and provide a high level of customer service.
• Identify and elevate complex accounting issues to the appropriate internal teams.

• Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience is required to effectively support and advise clients.
• Strong client-facing and customer service skills with the ability to communicate financial concepts clearly.
• Comfortable leading client meetings and managing multiple client relationships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive.
• Professional, confident, and personable communication style.

This position does not perform hands-on bookkeeping tasks
. Instead, it focuses on client interaction, guidance, and support related to bookkeeping services.
