POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Education Manager, the B&G Club Program Aide serves as receptionist, front desk monitor and administrative support; providing clerical duties. Provides an exceptional customer service experience. Promotes Club membership and programs; and maintains a master schedule of events and programs. Answers the telephone in a courteous manner and directs calls to the appropriate destination;
greets, checks-in and
-out members and guests. Monitors security controls and ensures the safety of building, staff and clients. Provides general information about Salvation Army services and BGC operations.

Other Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT: Computer, Microsoft Office Suite, Copier, Printer, Fax, Phone, Security System, AV Equipment, and Motor Vehicles.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required supplemented by additional Business, Communication or Education courses preferred;
And Two years minimum of experience, preferably in diverse and urban areas;
Or Equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
LICENSES AND
CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid driver’s license without restrictions; CDL a plus. CPR/First Aid Certification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to present a positive and professional image of The Salvation Army. Ability to interact with children and teens with patience and respect. Ability to prepare and maintain records and reports in an accurate and complete manner. Ability to support and coordinate activities and events. Ability to clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to individuals and groups. Ability to schedule meetings.
