Imaging Clerk – Atlantic Region Central Billing Office (ARCBO)
The Atlantic Region Central Billing Office (“ARCBO” or “CBO”) provides business office services including billing, collections, cash posting, pre‑access management, variance, and customer service to our affiliated Universal Health Services hospitals.
The primary responsibility of the Imaging Clerk is to complete the scanning of incoming patient, insurance correspondence and remittance vouchers, and other tasks assigned in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Sort and prepare incoming EOB / remittance batches for scanning.
- Sort patient correspondence and prepare them for scanning.
- Scan EOB and remittances into the appropriate area of Document Imaging daily.
- Perform QA on all document imaging batches scanned daily to ensure accuracy and quality of images.
- File as required per retention policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, patients, insurance companies and other parties.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Customer‑focused, providing service exceeding expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prioritize needs and manage resources.
