As a Business Director, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. • Strategic leadership:
  Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One amid shifting consumer and regulatory demands.
• Product:
  Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for lending products; lead product‑level data modeling and analytics.
• Marketing:
  Lead direct‑to‑consumer marketing for select products and shape strategic intent for retail‑channel distributed products; build insights to inform new customer experiences and breakthrough technology.
• Credit Risk:
  Drive step‑change improvements in credit performance by connecting future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses with rigorous monitoring.
• Execution:
  Manage delivery of business intent, build requirements, and execute product strategy across multiple concurrent projects and programs.
• Partnership:
  Work closely with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability.
• Strategic, analytic orientation:
  Demonstrated decision‑making and problem‑solving based on analytics, with strong quantitative skills for analytics‑driven marketing and credit risk.
• Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity:
  Tenacious decision maker with an aggressive but responsible approach.
• People leadership:
  Build and leverage high‑performing teams and partners across the enterprise; foster innovation, drive decisions, and hold partners accountable.
• Executive communication:
  Impeccable written and oral skills, strategic influencing, and negotiation.

  Intense focus on meeting short‑term and long‑term goals in uncertain and fluid environments.
• Thriving in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, dynamic environment; prior consulting experience is a plus.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering).
• At least 7 years of analytical experience.

• Master’s Degree.
• More than 2 years in financial services.
• More than 1 year in consulting.
• More than 3 years in stakeholder management.

McLean, VA: $226,000 – $257,900

Richmond, VA: $205,400 – $234,400

This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
