Responsibilities:
- Execute an aggressive lead generation strategy targeting corporate prospects and site selection consultants
- Support VEDPs mission and build awareness of Virginia as a desirable business location by providing accurate information about Virginia business assets and VEDPs services
- Employ appointment setting and qualification techniques to set up high-quality appointments for Lead Generation Business Managers
- Utilize digital applications, telemarketing, and email techniques to conduct outreach campaigns
- Support direct marketing program with data verification and accurately updating all company and client data
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all call campaigns
- Maintain minimum average dial-per-hour rates and positive ranking for all set appointments
Skills:
- Experience using lead generation marketing applications such as Salesforce, Linked In Sales Navigator, Hub Spot, Zoom Info, CB Insights, and Alpha Sense is preferred
- Highly detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work, lead, and generate results and outcomes in time-sensitive situations
- Ability to work constructively and effectively in a team environment by making positive contributions to the teams operations, functions, and working relationships
- Demonstrated problem solving capabilities in a business environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to handle rejection specific to phone contacts
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a business setting
- Experience working in an economic development environment is a plus
