Construction Superintendent - Residential

Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting Kirbor Homes in their search for a Construction Superintendent to help drive growth, with a focus on home building in the Williamsburg area. This role will oversee the build-out of the Signature Home Series and manage all on-site construction activities for 10–12 semi-custom homes at a time. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative professional with a background in construction or renovation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

This is a field-based, Monday–Friday role responsible for new home building projects in New Kent and possibly Yorktown and Hampton in the future.

• Manage entire new home development lifecycle from pre-construction meetings through the completion of the home warranty period.
• Schedule sub-contractors and inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Coordinate all site activities and track progress against project goals and objectives.
• Ensure that subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers meet all quality and performance criteria expectations.
• Communicate effectively between office, client, and site.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and employees.
• Continuously identify and solve problems.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment for all on-site activities.

• 5+ years of residential construction or renovation experience.
• Strong understanding of all phases of residential construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects.
• Self-starter able to achieve large goals with minimum supervision.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, confident, and assertive with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well under pressure able to manage diverse personalities.
• Experience with construction or project management software.
