Safety Coordinator
IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking full-time construction Safety Coordinator in Richmond, Virginia.
Job Summary
- Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
- Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies
- Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
- Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings
- Conducts jobsite safety orientations
- Assists in safety training as necessary
- Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees
- Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections
- Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
- Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures
- Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year commercial electrical experience in a related position
- HS Diploma/GED
- OSHA-30 Certification
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check
