OverviewAssist the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager in planning, directing, and fulfilling construction projects. Support forecasting and reporting for upcoming and current projects, and apply sustainable processes, technology, and leadership to meet project owners’ interests while upholding the company’s safety culture and compliance policies.
Responsibilities- Support the Senior Project Manager or Project Manager in project planning, direction, and execution.
- Assist in forecasting and reporting for both new and active construction projects.
- Leverage sustainable business processes, team competencies, and technology to efficiently complete construction projects.
- May be assigned as “Project Manager” on smaller projects under close supervision of a senior manager.
- Grow relationships with current customers and pursue opportunities for future business development.
- Collaborate and communicate with management and team members to integrate activities and achieve acquisition, retention, and growth goals.
- Maintain accurate, complete records and provide reports to appropriate parties.
- Deliver mentoring and training support to site supervision and other team members as needed.
- Actively participate in industry events and groups to project a positive image of the company.
- Comply with company operating policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to inquiries or requests within established policy time frames.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
Proficient reading, writing, analytic, planning, forecasting, work‑management, people‑management, leadership, and coaching abilities; understanding of construction project management focus; multi‑task, prioritize, meet deadlines; entrepreneurial drive; computer skills; interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative and generative attitudes; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license.
Education / Experience- A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field is preferred.
- Specific training and education focused on construction project management discipline.
- A minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with M‑K or a commercial general‑contracts construction company is preferred.
