Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Site Manager

A growing General Contractor expanding across Virginia is seeking a Project Manager to join its team and play a key role in the growth of its public-sector construction operation.

You’ll manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
, working closely with owners, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.

Projects include schools, county facilities, municipal buildings, and Department of Public Works projects
, typically ranging from $5M–$12M
, with opportunities to take on larger projects as the business grows.

• Manage projects from preconstruction through completion
• Oversee schedule, budget, cost control, quality, and documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractors
• Lead project meetings and owner communications
• Coordinate field teams, vendors, consultants, and project partners
• Support estimating and preconstruction when required

• 2–3+ years of construction Project Management experience
• Commercial / General Contracting background
• Experience managing projects through completion
• Public-sector, municipal, government, or K-12 experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Construction Management / Engineering degree preferred, not essential
