Are you an Electrical Estimator/Project Manager with commercial or industrial experience looking for an opportunity to take ownership of projects and progress into running a regional office?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established electrical contractor where you will combine design-build estimating with project delivery, help develop an existing customer base and play a key role in the future of its Richmond operation.
The company delivers a varied portfolio of electrical projects, including commercial tenant fit-outs, lighting, backup power, electrical service upgrades and EV charging infrastructure. With an established regional presence and the backing of a wider business operating across multiple offices, they are looking for an ambitious individual to strengthen their estimating and project management capability.
In this role, you will prepare design-build electrical estimates, work with customers to establish project requirements and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and field teams to deliver profitable projects. You will split your time between the office and project sites, supporting the local team while developing toward greater operational responsibility.
This role would suit an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager or a strong estimator looking to step into project management and leadership. A Virginia Master Electrician license and existing customer relationships would be advantageous.
The Role:
- Prepare design-build estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.

- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, identifying cost savings and suitable alternatives.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement and coordination with field teams.
- Build customer relationships and support opportunities to secure additional work.
- Progress toward leading the Richmond office and its local team.
The Candidate:
- Proven electrical estimating experience within commercial or industrial construction.
- Experience with design-build projects and a strong understanding of electrical installations.
- Project management or team leadership experience, or the ambition to develop in these areas.
- Existing relationships with local customers or general contractors would be beneficial.
- Able to commute to Richmond or willing to relocate.
