Style Craft Homes is a locally owned family of companies with the mission to Create Communities that Inspire People to Live Up. We are seeking a Multimedia Designer to elevate marketing efforts across a variety of platforms, including online, social media, and print. The Multimedia Designer will report to the Director of Marketing and support photography and videography initiatives. This role is a full time, in office role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Director of Marketing, marketing team, and other stakeholders to strategically plan out the multimedia project calendar for the month, quarter, and year
  • Demonstrated ability in editing high-quality video content and finding the strongest story in the edit
  • Experience collaborating in a team and taking creative direction from others as well as working independently to develop and make decisions about visual stories
  • Focus on the creation, execution, post-production, and distribution of multimedia assets to support marketing communication strategies, projects, and campaigns
  • Example day-to-day tasks include:
  • Featured home photo and video tours, time-lapse videos, and more
  • Community-specific highlight photos and videos
  • Drone / aerial photos and videos
  • Homeowner, vendor, or employee photo and video testimonials
  • Advertising trailers or compelling content for social media / web use
  • Event-specific photos and videos
  • Informational, demonstrational, or training videos
  • Corporate branding and recruiting assets
  • Graphic design and miscellaneous collateral support
  • Utilize computer programs to create animation / motion, audio, and visual effects
  • Perform edits based on feedback from the Director of Marketing and other stakeholders
  • Maintain existing equipment or source new equipment as needed
  • Set up lights, cameras, and sound equipment for shoots
  • Source external vendors or paid talent for larger, more complex projects (as needed)
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends in multimedia design techniques and advertising platform best practices
  • Ensure work is completed on time, accurately, and within budget
  • Provide miscellaneous support to the marketing team and other stakeholders as needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Experience
  • 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling and a range of experience and expertise in video and photo production and visual problem-solving, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, results-driven environment
  • Advertising agency experience, residential construction experience, real estate background, or retail experience preferred
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia/Graphic Design, Advertising, Photography, or related field preferred
Skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a tight, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional demeanor; comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including homeowners
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with an eye for aesthetics and consistently representing the brand
  • Comfortable with constructive criticism; passion for continuously improving and has a drive to be successful
  • Advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Canva, and other multimedia software or publishing programs
  • Proficient or advanced photography and videography skills; willingness to continuously learn or refine skills with new software or technical equipment
  • Marketing aptitude to promote the goodwill of the company and to positively impact customer satisfaction at all levels of the sales and ownership process
Additional Skills - Nice to Have
  • FAA drone license (or willingness to obtain a license)
  • Experience with motion graphics
  • Experience with Word Press, HTML, CSS, or other web languages
  • Experience with Cinema4D
Working Conditions
  • Ability to move and handle equipment, occasionally lifting over 40lbs
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment and stand for long periods of time (for photo and video shoots)
  • Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed for special events
  • Local travel required
  • Comfortable working in an office environment and collaborating with team members
