Call Center Representative

Position Overview

Our client is seeking Call Center Representatives to join their team at a public utilities call center in the Richmond area. This role involves providing exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and requests related to essential utility services.

• Answer inbound calls regarding gas, water, trash, wastewater, and streetlight services

• Assist customers with billing inquiries
  , starting or stopping services
  , and reporting issues

• Make outbound calls to follow up on previous requests and ensure resolution.
• Accurately document customer interactions and update account information in the system.
• Provide clear, courteous, and professional communication to resolve customer concerns promptly.

• Previous experience in customer service or call center environment preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and maintain accurate records.
• Problem‑solving skills and a customer‑first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr
