• Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each interaction delivers on the SP+ Promise.
• Be at work each scheduled day, on time, in uniform, and ready to assist customers.
• Count “bank” of revenue at the start of shift to ensure starting total is correct.
• Collect cash and/or validations and maintain security of cash.
• Make change and issue receipts or tickets to customers for each transaction.
• Compute or re‑compute bill from ticket showing amount due per customer.
• Operate cash register after time calculation, displaying cost of each customer transaction.
• Quote prices for parking services for which money is received upon customer receipt.
• Give directions to city locations and assist customers to get where they are going efficiently.
• Complete lost‑ticket forms when original tickets cannot be found.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly, asking a supervisor for assistance when needed.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness of booth and pick up trash in surrounding area.
• Conduct timely checks to ensure a proper inventory of necessary aids and supplies.
• Verify log of shift transactions against the bank of revenue on hand.
• Compile bank of collected revenue during the day once a predetermined amount has been collected.
• Record amounts received, cars in/out of facility, cars left in a facility (if applicable) while preparing shift reports of transactions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Position:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm.

Pay Rate: $14.00–$15.00 per hour

• Education:
  
  Less than high school or up to one month related experience or training; equivalent combination acceptable.
• Availability:
  May be required to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
• License:
  Valid state‑issued driver’s license required if expected to drive company vehicle or for company business.
• Mathematical skills:
  Add, subtract, multiply, divide; make change.
• Language skills:
  Read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, present information to customers, supervisors, and employees.
• Reasoning ability:
  Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; handle problems with a few variables.
• Other skills:
  Use a clock, calculator (optional), or credit card machine; maintain pleasant demeanor on telephone and with the public; respond to customer problems or complaints.
• Physical demands:
  Regularly sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with arms; occasionally walk. Requires close vision.
