Dental Assistant – Richmond, VA

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
- Prepare the patient for dental procedures.
- Prepare equipment and instruments for use during dental procedures.
- Follow sterilization and safety procedures while assisting in dental procedures.
- Clean, disinfect, and store equipment used during dental procedures.
- Transport equipment and supplies to and from clinic sites each day, arriving early at the storage office and returning equipment at the end of the day for sterilization.
- Travel to senior care facilities as part of a mobile practice, providing dental and hygiene services on‑site.
- Receive daily compensation with typical shifts of 8 or 10 hours and reimbursement for mileage and tolls.
- Hold current x‑ray certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting.
- Enjoy working with elderly patients; geriatric experience is a plus.
- Be willing and able to transport equipment in your own personal vehicle; a standard 4‑door sedan, SUV, or crossover is acceptable.
- 8 hour shift
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- X‑Ray Certification (Required)
Work Location: On the road (mobile practice at senior care facilities)
