Glavé & Holmes (G&H) is seeking to fill a full‑time Project Manager/Architect (PM/PA) position in our Civic & Community Studio. The studio’s work encompasses both civic buildings for local and state governments and projects for private developers – commercial, residential, and mixed‑use. The common theme in our work is a love for human habitats at every scale – from the neighborhood to the city – and enhancing the public realm through architecture.
Ideal candidates will have between 5 and 8 years of full‑time experience, aspire to continued professional growth, and be eager to take on expanding leadership roles in projects, the studio, and the firm. They should have an interest in the full range of architectural practice – from design to production to process management – and be eager to contribute within a cohesive, supportive team environment.

The Project Architect/Project Manager will work under the Studio Director. Key responsibilities include serving as the client contact for assigned projects, creating and managing project budgets, and assisting with business development. The role offers collaborative work with highly capable teams and mentorship for professional growth, with open‑ended future advancement potential.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills- Professional undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture from an accredited program.
- Over 5 years of experience with a U.S. professional license or demonstrated progress toward licensure.
- Experience and interest in project and team management.
- Experience with complex project programs and project sizes above $5M construction cost.
- Experience with public and private sector projects.
- Ability to manage projects independently, achieve targeted profit, maintain positive client relationships, and deliver quality in a collaborative framework.
- Ability to lead the creation of high‑quality construction documents, with sound knowledge of materials, details, and construction.
- Experience with Revit as a production platform.
- Passion for design excellence and a collaborative spirit.
- Interest in contextual architecture and appreciation of good design through the continuum of history.
- Appreciation for cities as habitats for humanity and for how good urban design supports human flourishing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest and aptitude for business development and growing client relationships.
- Strong graphic design and hand‑drawing skills.
- Interest in an expanding leadership role on projects, in the studio, and in the firm.
