Overview
- Work Setting: Hospital/Doctor's Office/Clinic
- Coverage Dates: Start as soon as possible until a new doctor is hired.
- On-Call
Schedule:
Every 6th night/weekend - Number of Providers: There are 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) on the team.
- Patient Age Group: Adults and Older Adults
- Documentation System: EPIC (computer system for patient records)
- Required Procedures: Taking Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Must be Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology and have Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) certification - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
- Must have Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Must have completed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and have experience with Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
- Provider must live locally; only travel costs will be paid
- Must have a DEA license
- Must have an active Virginia medical license - THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
