HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is an in-house, overnight position with 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. Job Summary :

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This is an in-house, overnight position with 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. Chippenham is a Level I Trauma Center and has been proudly serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.

Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:

• MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
• Fellowship training in Critical Care Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required.
• Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment.
• Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
• Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics.
• Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
• Schedule is 7p-7a, Monday through Sunday with the following week off.
• No cardiac responsibilities as cardiac anesthesiologist is on call from home. CRNA in-house at all time, with a second on home call.
