Description:

We are looking for a Locum Client Fetal Medicine physician to provide coverage.
This position will support during the recruitment period.
Average number of scheduled patients per day is 27.
There will be one physician per site, with another physician providing coverage during locum dates.
A nurse practitioner will rotate between sites to support the clinic.
The practice consists of three exam rooms.
Onsite ultrasound services are available, while lab services are not onsite.
The clinic is equipped with a GE 10 ultrasound machine.
Support staff includes a registered nurse clinic educator, a sonographer, a genetic counselor, and a front office team.
Approximately 5% of the practice involves low-risk pregnancies.
About 95% of the practice focuses on high-risk pregnancies.
Numerous procedures are required, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
Other necessary skills include the management of pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, congenital abnormalities, pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, genetic disorders, and birth defects.
The position also involves managing both vaginal and cesarean births, as well as any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that may complicate high-risk pregnancies.
Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
Facility will reimburse for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate.
On-call coverage is required from 5pm to 8am.
