Part-Time Hospitalist Physician – Richmond, VA

National Wound Physician Group seeks a part‑time Hospitalist Physician to provide bedside wound care at the post‑acute care setting across Richmond, VA. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a healthy work‑life balance.

• Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound‑certified physician trainers and fellowship directors, and utilize cutting‑edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.

Core responsibilities include delivering modern wound management at the bedside, conducting weekly wound rounds at each facility, and documenting patient care in real time using our proprietary wound‑specific EMR.

Practice overview:

• Full‑time work:
  Monday-Friday (7am‑4pm) or part‑time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Post‑acute care settings:
  Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long‑Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part‑time role: minimum 3 days per week; full‑time: 4‑5 days per week.
• Mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40‑60 mile radius of practice location.
• Visit 2‑3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20‑30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation performed at point of care, in real time during rounds.
• Paid training provided during onboarding plus a 6‑month wound care fellowship.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state where you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
