• Provide traditional delivery instruction on the Chester or Midlothian campus.
• Teach courses in the discipline, including Elements of Physics, General College Physics I & II, and University Physics I & II.
• Complete successful criminal background check prior to employment.
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned and assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

• Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Additional consideration: prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level; ability to use instructional technologies.

• General information about schedule:
  Adjunct faculty teaching is limited to a maximum of 8 credit hours in the summer, 12 credit hours in the fall, and 12 credit hours in the spring, for total credit hours taught across Virginia’s Community Colleges (VCCS). Restrictions may apply if other positions are held within VCCS.
