Telework: May be employed in person, hybrid, or online instruction.

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional material for HVAC courses.
• Engage students in active learning and provide academic support.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain classroom learning environment consistent with VCCS standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
• May be required to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration.

• Minimum of 2 years HVAC experience.
• Familiarity with computers and instructional technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
