Telework: May be employed in person, hybrid, or online instruction.
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.
Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional material for HVAC courses.
- Engage students in active learning and provide academic support.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom learning environment consistent with VCCS standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- May be required to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration.
- Minimum of 2 years HVAC experience.
- Familiarity with computers and instructional technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
