We are seeking a part‑time, in‑person private tutor to work one‑on‑one with high school students in Richmond, Virginia. Our tutoring services focus on flexible, personalized, curriculum‑based instruction for students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12.

Key Responsibilities- Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with Virginia’s curriculum standards.
- Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
- Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs.
- Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals.
- Energetic and enthusiastic about helping students learn and grow.
- Committed to providing exceptional, personalized instruction and customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles and student needs.
- Professional, punctual, and organized.
- All applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and meet at least one of the following:
- Hold a valid Virginia State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state).
- Currently enrolled in a teacher certification program.
- Have 2+ years of experience teaching in a private, public, or charter school.
- Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Are a Master’s or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at a U.S. university or college.
