Virginia Western Community College invites qualified candidates to join the School of Business, Technology, and Trades (BTT) as part‑time adjunct faculty.

- Teach college‑level courses in plumbing on an as‑needed, semester basis:
Principles of Plumbing Trade I, Principles of Plumbing Trade II, and Plumbing Code and Certification Preparation. - Maintain currency in teaching discipline and current trends in community‑college education.
- Develop syllabi, exams, and curriculum assessments and actively participate in departmental communication.
- Assist the agency or state government generally in emergencies declared by the Governor, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of occupational experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write syllabi and exams; develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments for students from diverse backgrounds.
- Master plumber license is an additional consideration.
