- Develop, deliver, and assess instruction in welding disciplines, maintaining currency in teaching methods and industry trends.
- Prepare syllabi, assignments, examinations, and assessments in accordance with college standards.
- Actively participate in departmental communication and collaborative initiatives.
- Assist the agency or state government in emergencies as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent with ≥5 years of current occupational experience in welding.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to write syllabi and exams; develop curriculum and assessments.
- Strong learning strategies and ability to work with students of varying abilities and diverse backgrounds.
- AWS certification and/or formal education in a certificate, apprenticeship program in welding from an accredited school preferred.
