Adjunct Faculty – Culinary Arts (Part-Time)

Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis. Faculty members are expected to teach developmental and/or college‑level courses, including distance‑learning courses, during day and evening hours, on weekdays and weekends. Faculty members must maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and stay abreast of trends in community college education.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned culinary arts courses.
  • Develop and update course materials.
  • Use online teaching tools for distance‑learning courses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development.
  • May be required to assist in emergency response activities.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or related field.
  • At least two years of industry experience.
  • Serv Safe certification.
  • Preferred:
    Two years teaching experience, management experience, and experience with online teaching.
