Adjunct Faculty - Engineering Technology

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty positions for an Engineering Technology adjunct.

Responsibilities include teaching college-level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening, and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in the field or Associate's in the field plus 2 years work experience in the field.
• The ability to use instructional technology is required.

Additional Considerations:

• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College-level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Compensation and Benefits:

Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty:
The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part-time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.
