Position OverviewThe Plumbing Instructor will deliver comprehensive instruction in plumbing technology, utilizing NCCER curriculum standards. The instructor will inspire students to pursue careers or further education in the plumbing field.
Responsibilities- Develop, deliver, and assess engaging lesson plans in plumbing technology.
- Use NCCER curriculum standards and materials to teach plumbing levels 1 through 4.
- Provide industry‑relevant instruction that incorporates best safety practices.
- Support students in career readiness and employment preparation.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff on course improvement and assessment.
- NCCER Certification in Plumbing or a related trade.
- Proven industry experience in plumbing with a strong understanding of current practices and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and assessments.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred but not required.
Desired credentials: NCCER instructor credentials for Plumbing Levels 1 through 4.
