• Design, develop, and deliver curriculum for Licensed Practical Nursing courses in both classroom and online settings.
• Implement instructional strategies that promote student learning, including active learning, technology integration, and formative assessment.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate student records, including grades, attendance, and grading reports.
• Participate in faculty governance, committee work, and program advisement activities.
• Serve as Program Head for a developing LPN program: coordinate faculty development, curriculum design, course scheduling, and program assessment.
• Engage in scholarly and professional activities such as conferences, workshops, and grant writing to advance the discipline.

• BSN (required) and current, unrestricted nursing license in Virginia.
• Minimum five years of recent RN practice experience.
• Teaching experience preferred, especially in a community college setting.
• Proficiency in curriculum design, assessment, and emerging technologies for online/hybrid delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Competitive salary range: $57,167 – $73,000, commensurate with experience.
