Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. In 2021, we expanded into our Central Regional Focus Area, which includes producing areas within Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
This position will be responsible for supporting trading and scheduling functions in Diversified Energy’s Appalachian region.
Primary Responsibilities- Track and interpret maintenance and other operational issues to reliably get natural gas to optimal markets.
- Ensure volumes and positions in the internal trade capture system balance and reconcile to actual activity as reported on pipelines.
- Assist in reconciling variances between actual transactions and marketer invoices.
- Manage nominations to minimize volume reductions and maintain desired imbalances.
- Monitor wholesale markets and capacity opportunities to maximize revenue by optimizing physical and transportation assets.
- Work on projects that contribute to the achievement of the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Provide on‑call support for weekend coverage.
- Motivated individual with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Accuracy, communication, and decision‑making skills are critical.
- Strong customer service skills, as this position represents Diversified to industry partners.
- Highly proficient in Excel and Outlook; ETRM and EBB experience is a plus.
- Experience in the gas scheduling industry preferred but not required.
- Compensation and title commensurate with relevant experience.
