** Job Summary
** This position is responsible for
** Management of Change (MOC)
** activities at fabric converters, ensuring product integrity and compliance during process changes. The role involves close collaboration with
** Application Development Scientists**,
** Contract Operations Teams**, and the
** Tyvek Manufacturing Technology Team**, with occasional travel to converter sites.
** Primary
Duties & Responsibilities
*** Lead MOC processes for fabric converters to maintain product performance and regulatory compliance.
* Partner with internal teams and external converters to assess risks and implement changes effectively.
* Translate technical properties into product features for customer-facing applications.
* Conduct and oversee laboratory testing (internal and external) to validate material performance.
* Support qualification plans, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain documentation for SOPs and compliance audits.
** Education & Experience
*
* Required:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, or related field.
* Hands-on experience in lab testing and material evaluation.
* Familiarity with fabric conversion processes (extrusion coating, coating, lamination) and technical property analysis.
* 5+ years of work experience in a similar role
* Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
* Ability to translate technical data into practical product features.
* Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
* Willingness to travel to fabric converters as needed
