Electrical Engineer-Construction design

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a respected engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative K–12, commercial, and municipal building projects across Virginia. They will lead full‑cycle electrical design projects—from concept and load calculations to construction and commissioning—while collaborating closely with cross‑functional design teams.

  Fulltime (Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
• Buiding Systems Design-Construction

• Lead all phases of electrical design, including load calculations, layouts, and equipment selection.
• Develop and review comprehensive design documents, specifications, and construction packages.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant codes, project schedules, and budget requirements.
• Attend client meetings to define project scope, present updates, and resolve technical issues.
• Provide construction‑phase support by managing RFIs, submittals, and conducting necessary site visits.
• Support commissioning and quality assurance processes for final project delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 8 years of experience in electrical building systems design (specifically K–12, commercial, or municipal projects).
• EIT license (Virginia) is required; PE license is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• LEED Accreditation is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven technical problem‑solving abilities.
