Description
Position Summary: The Aircraft and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and servicing aircraft to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems, engines, airframes, and associated components. The A&P Mechanic must adhere to FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies to perform maintenance on various aircraft types.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs on various aircraft systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and function test using manufacturer’s technical documents across airframes, engines, and components.
- Lead aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and modifications per FAA regulations and company policies.
- Utilize technical data effectively to accomplish tasks.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Other Requirements Include:
- Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- Ability to attain and retain airport badges.
- FAA Inspection Authorization (preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
- Aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
- Participation in rotation weekend on-call.
