Key Responsibilities

Imagine stepping into the role of a Gas Project Engineer, where your day begins with leading and managing 5-10 large‑scale gas transmission projects. Your strategic oversight ensures each project is completed on time and meets all success criteria. You coordinate and support multiple teams, clients, and projects, maintaining clear and effective communication that keeps everyone aligned and informed.

Your expertise with Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and utility-based GIS applications is crucial as you manage project documentation and schedules with precision. Engaging in client‑facing activities, you demonstrate strong communication skills, building and maintaining robust relationships with clients. Your ability to connect and understand their needs makes you a trusted partner.

Throughout each project, you ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a high level of safety and quality. Your commitment to these principles not only safeguards the projects but also enhances the reputation of your team and company. What We're Looking For
  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree from an ABET‑accredited institution, ensuring you have a solid foundation in engineering principles.
  • Experience:

    3-10 years in the gas utilities sector, bringing valuable industry insights and expertise to the table.
  • Team Management:
    Proven experience in managing a team, showcasing your ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and a utility based GIS application.
  • Certifications:

    PE or actively working towards this certification, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
  • Leadership:
    Strong leadership abilities, ready to take charge and drive projects forward.
  • Communication:
    Excellent communication skills, essential for building relationships and conveying complex ideas clearly.

Benefits & Salary

This position pays between $83,000 and $115,000 annually (or hourly) and is an exempt (or non‑exempt) position.

Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.

Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.

May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
