ResponsibilitiesAs a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of civil systems including grading, drainage, utilities, and hydrology for a wide range of site development projects. You will serve as the engineer of record for smaller, less complex projects, while continuing to work under the supervision of a senior engineer on larger, more complex efforts. Your responsibilities include preparing engineering and stormwater management calculations, reports, and drawings, leading field investigations, and supporting construction administration activities such as reviewing shop drawings and providing responses to RFIs.

RequirementsCandidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution and be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Virginia, North Carolina, or be able to obtain reciprocity within three months of hire. We seek individuals with 4–6 years of progressive experience in civil/site engineering design, along with proven proficiency using Autodesk Civil 3D. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
Candidates must also be eligible to work in the United States and be able to obtain a security clearance.
The ideal candidate will have experience with site development and stormwater management design, familiarity with environmental permitting processes, and knowledge of state and local regulations in Virginia.
