About the Client
Our client, GE Vernova Inc., a global leader in the energy and power generation industry, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to join their team.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be part of the Steam Power Services engineering team supporting outage planning, repairs, and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven project management experience to align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?- Provide technical guidance during outage planning and execution for steam turbines.
- Lead complex repairs on rotors, diaphragms, casings, and valves.
- Act as technical interface for repair projects with cross‑functional teams.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product/process issues.
- Design steam turbine components and collaborate with global engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in steam turbine service engineering.
- 2+ years of field execution experience (preferably in power generation).
- Strong oral and written communication skills and project management abilities.
- Catia CAD experience is a plus.
