Looking for the opportunity to lead, grow a team, and shape major infrastructure and energy projects across the Mid-Atlantic?
We are seeking a Head of Geotechnical Division
to play a key role in expanding its geotechnical practice within the power, industrial, manufacturing, and institutional sectors.
This is a true seller-doer leadership position
, combining technical delivery, business development, client management, and team leadership. You'll have the autonomy to develop client relationships, win work, mentor engineers, and oversee complex projects from planning through construction.
- Lead geotechnical and civil engineering projects across energy, industrial, manufacturing, and infrastructure markets.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with clients across the Mid-Atlantic region.
- Drive business development efforts, proposals, scopes, budgets, and project pursuits.
- Manage project financial performance, schedules, quality, and delivery.
- Provide technical oversight for geotechnical investigations, analyses, and design.
- Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.
- 12+ years of geotechnical and civil engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven experience managing projects, clients, and project teams.
- Strong background in geotechnical engineering for power, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated business development and client-facing experience.
- Ability to lead both technical execution and practice growth initiatives.
- Established and growing engineering consultancy with a strong national presence.
