The State Corporation Commission's Division of Public Utility Regulation seeks an Energy Analyst to investigate electric and gas utility proposals, conduct cost of service studies, design rates, and perform statistical analysis of utility filings. The role involves defending findings as an expert witness at regulatory hearings and monitoring industry conferences. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 days telework and 2 days in-office weekly.
Keyqualifications
- Investigate utility rate increase proposals and integrated resource plans
- Conduct cost of service studies and rate design analysis
- Perform statistical analysis of utility proposals
- Document findings and defend testimony at evidentiary hearings
- Monitor PJM Interconnection and FERC conferences and regulatory developments
