Environmental Internship - Summer

• Assist with wetland and stream delineations, field surveys, and site assessments
• Collect and record field data, including soil, vegetation, and water quality samples
• Support permitting and regulatory documentation for local, state, and federal agencies
• Use GIS and CAD tools to prepare maps, exhibits, and reports
• Work alongside experienced scientists and engineers on real client projects

• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources, Ecology, Geology, or a related field
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and terrain
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication
• Familiarity with ArcGIS or similar software is a plus
• Valid driver’s license preferred

We’re currently hiring Environmental interns to join our Environmental Group for our Richmond, VA office.

Our salary for this position beginning in May 2027 will be $20/hour. Offers are based on a range of job-related factors such as internal equity, experience, skills, education, credentials and role complexity.
