What You’ll Do
  • Provide top‑tier monitoring support to all customers, ensuring every home is secure.
  • Receive and respond to multiple emergency and non‑emergency alarm calls from customers and authorities.
  • Ask probing questions to interpret, analyze, and anticipate the caller’s situation to resolve problems, provide information, dispatch emergency services, or refer callers to other contacts.
  • Enter clear and concise data in the computer database to maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other account information.
  • Dispatch and coordinate the responses of public safety agencies according to company SOPs.
  • Stay abreast of company policy changes and training material to maintain up‑to‑date knowledge within the dispatcher role.
  • Obtain and renew multiple state regulatory licenses through the new‑hire training program.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass multiple state licensing background checks and monitoring‑related exams.
  • 6–12 months of prior monitoring experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Calm self‑composure while providing comfort and assurance during high‑intensity emergency situations.
  • Judgment and decision‑making skills to evaluate situations, establish priorities, and resolve matters.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to contribute to company goals.
  • Prioritization and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask with conflicting events.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Proven record of outstanding attendance and timeliness in a structured environment.
Requirements for the Position
  • Ability to work 100% onsite.
  • Flexibility to work evening/weekend positions; three weeks of daytime training.

Compensation

The target hourly pay rate for this role is $21. We use a market‑based compensation approach and make adjustments annually. Beyond base pay, this role may include a total rewards package that could include a bonus program, equity, and a full range of medical, retirement, and lifestyle benefits.
