Position Overview

Collections Associate supporting the Northeast District for KONE Americas.

Location:

Flexible within district.

  • Are you skillful with monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action (credit memos, refunds, credit holds, Notice of Intent Letter, Final Demand letter, lien waivers, etc.)?

Job Duties

As our Collections Associate, you will manage and collect outstanding accounts receivables from service customers. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely payments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records to support the organization’s financial health.

You will bring 2+ years of progressive and successful experience in a collections role or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Compensation

Annual base pay range for the role in Boston, DC, and Trumbull locations: $75,900.00 – $99,645.00
. The compensation package will depend on meeting the requirements of the role and other unique factors such as skill set, experience level, certifications, and location.

Additional ranges for other areas:

  • Baltimore area: $70,600.00 – $92,715.00
  • Albany, Harrisburg, Richmond, Rochester, Syracuse area: $66,000.00 – $86,625.00
Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
