Senior Associate, Capital Resilience Analytics
Capital One is looking for a Senior Associate to join the Capital Resilience Analytics (CRA) team. In this role you will support operations‑management functions, work on capital adequacy processes, including federal stress testing, and help drive improvements in capital planning and reporting.
Responsibilities- Manage third‑line engagement throughout the stress‑testing life cycle, including pre‑cycle preparation, timely fulfillment of requests, and post‑cycle remediation activities.
- Support Capital One’s response to the First Day Letter, Horizontal Capital Exam, and the OCC’s DFAST Exam.
- Support data management and validation activities during the annual stress test.
- Execute horizontal projects to improve efficiency for the stress‑testing operations group and overall processes.
- Manage cross‑team projects, partnering throughout planning, execution, and timely closure of enhancements.
- Identify and manage program risks, serve as an escalation point, remove roadblocks, and manage cross‑project dependencies.
- Partner with the Enterprise team to manage the Adobe Workfront system for the CCAR program.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial services, audit, project management, or risk management.
- At least 3 years of experience in audit, compliance, risk management, or project management.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance risk management, corporate treasury, or capital markets functions.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial services.
McLean, VA: $109,000 – $124,400
Richmond, VA: $99,100 – $113,100
Other locations: salary will be based on local pay ranges.
Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
