ECHO Technician PRN

Apply for the ECHO Technician PRN role at CJW Medical Center.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ECHO Technician PRN to join our team and provide quality cardiac imaging services.

• Performs accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study.
• Assists the physician as needed during procedures and monitors physiological parameters during procedures.
• Ensures quality care is provided within defined area of accountability.
• Completes department appropriate technologist structure reporting protocol as set forth by the accrediting body.
• Restocks work areas with necessary supplies, keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
• Maintains lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning by inspecting for breakdown, troubleshooting, and communicating with appropriate repair persons.
• Submits activity reports as requested.
• Participates actively in continuing education and assists in education of new staff as requested.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
