About the Role

We are looking for an experienced clinical leader to oversee crisis response and clinical development s includes monitoring patient safety, crisis escalations, clinical documentation, and ensuring operational excellence across care delivery.

You will lead initiatives to optimize crisis management workflows, train staff in clinical operations, and implement evidence‑based practices across the organization.

This role requires an experienced leader who can provide guidance in high‑risk situations, support staff development, and drive improvements in clinical operations in a fast‑growing, startup environment.

Role Responsibilities Crisis Manager:
  • Serve as a real‑time consult and escalation point for complex or high‑risk situations, owning final responsibility on crisis response during patient care hours.
  • Oversee crisis escalation protocols.
  • Monitor active crisis cases in collaboration with patient guides, therapists, and psychiatrists to ensure coordinated care and timely interventions.
  • Conduct post‑crisis debriefs and root cause analyses to identify lessons learned and update clinical guidance accordingly.
  • Audit and optimize documentation practices related to safety plans, crisis notes, and incident reports.
  • Partner with leadership to integrate crisis management into overall treatment planning.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to proactively reduce risk and improve patient outcomes.
Clinical/Care Operations:
  • Lead operational initiatives to improve clinical workflows, documentation, and care coordination.
  • Project manage clinical programs and operational improvements to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure care is cohesive, patient‑centered, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative tools and workflows to support staff and enhance patient care delivery.
Training & Staff Development:
  • Train and coach staff on crisis response protocols, safety planning, de‑escalation techniques, and clinical operations.
  • Lead scenario‑based trainings and simulations to reinforce best practices and build confidence.
Role Requirements
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (PhD, LCSW, LPC) or equivalent clinical license eligible to provide patient care.
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in all 50 states.
  • 5+ years of relevant clinical experience post‑degree.
  • 2+ years leading crisis management for high acuity outpatient population.
  • 2+ years leading clinical operations in a startup or fast‑growing healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work 1–2 evenings per week.
