This is a fully onsite role based at our BIOA Laboratory in Richmond, VA. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position, and any relocation costs will be the responsibility of the candidate. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.

Works with various teams (metrology, sample entry, stability, etc.) and assists in maintenance of laboratory systems. Supports daily lab operations under the direction of a senior staff member. Performs technical and record keeping duties in conformance with company and regulatory policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs).
Key Responsibilities- Understand and conform to all standard operating procedures, methods, and protocols applicable to assigned tasks.
- Maintain compliant laboratory documentation. Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean, sterile, and in proper working order.
- Routinely operate laboratory equipment.
- Communicate task status to laboratory manager or designee.
- Perform daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
Education and Experience:
- High/Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
- Technical positions may require a certificate.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

- Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- May interact with others, relating and gathering sensitive information. Interaction includes diverse groups.
