Clinical Staff PharmacistThis position will ensure the overall integrity, safety, rationality, and effectiveness of the medication use process for all patients in the following groups:
Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics. Provides pharmaceutical services throughout the institution. The incumbent will participate in pharmacy operations and medication dispensing, as well as facilitating experiential education and practice development.
- $60.00 - $85.00
- This rate reflects our commitment to pay equity and market‑competitive compensation.
- Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
- Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
- One (1) year of pharmacy practice experience in a similar setting
- By virtue of societal trust and security explicitly imparted to pharmacies for the control of drugs, candidate/incumbent must have a clean criminal record (i.e. no felony conviction; no drug or pharmacy related convictions, including misdemeanors; no denial, suspension, revocation, or restriction of registration or licensure by any State Board of Pharmacy)
- Current therapeutic and pharmacology knowledge of drug use
- Knowledge of hospital practice and services
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy or Masters Degree (MBA, MHA, or equivalent)
