Companion care afternoon NO

Join Home Health Services of Virginia as a Companion Care provider for 4 hours in the afternoon on either Fridays or Saturdays. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support clients in Richmond, VA with no holiday work required, ensuring a great work-life balance.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during the scheduled hours.
• Assist with light household tasks and errands as needed.
• Engage clients in conversation and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in clients’ condition to the care team.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

• Previous experience in companion care or related caregiving role preferred.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Reliable and punctual with strong communication skills.
• Ability to commit to the scheduled hours on Fridays or Saturdays.
• Must pass background checks and any required screenings.

• Competitive pay ranging from $14.50 to $17.00 per hour.
