About Our Property:Virginia Guesthouse
Opening in April 2026, the Virginia Guesthouse is a 214-room hotel featuring 25,000 square feet of conference and event space located on the beautiful grounds of the University of Virginia. Making its debut in the spirited WAHOO community, the Guesthouse will offer a vibrant and inspiring for guests, conference attendees, faculty, and students alike. - Develop and execute comprehensive pre‑opening and ongoing marketing plans.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with internal teams, agency partners, and creative providers (photographers, videographers, designers).
- Plan, produce, and publish content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Linked In.
- Engage with followers, respond to messages, and maintain an active digital community.
- Track analytics and adjust strategy to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
- Oversee hotel website updates, imagery, offer pages, landing pages, and navigation through the CMS.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across third‑party listings, local directories, and OTA presence.
- Implement SEO best practices in coordination with digital partners.
- Create and deploy email campaigns promoting offers, events, hotel news, and seasonal messages.
- Segment lists and optimize for engagement, open rates, and booking conversion.
- Manage pre‑stay and post‑stay guest email communications where applicable.
- Write compelling copy for web pages, social posts, ads, brochures, and collateral.
- Manage photography and video needs, including coordination of shoots and creative direction.
- Maintain a robust content calendar that aligns with business goals, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting leisure, group, and university‑related business.
- Support hotel opening, special events, packages, programming and community partnerships.
- Manage paid media initiatives in collaboration with external partners.
- Monitor KPIs including website traffic, social performance, email metrics, and booking trends.
- Produce monthly reporting and insights to guide strategy and budget allocation.
- Evaluate campaign ROI and make data‑driven recommendations.
