We are seeking a qualified, dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to oversee

Reset this open/ closing in Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump, a flagship property of Shamin Hotels. As part of Central Virginia's largest hotel management company, we have tripled in size to 78 full(blob) and select‑service hotels over the past decade, operating brands including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Inter Continental and Choice flags.

The full‑service hotel boasts 254 guest rooms, 21,000 sq ft. of conference and meeting space, Shula’s American Kitchen, Aroma Cafe, and Aura Spa – making it an attractive venue for regional groups, events and sporting events.

• Direct and manage all group, leisure, catering, and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue.
• Motivate others to find new business and exceed goals.
• Present, negotiate, influence, and sell to sophisticated clients, management personnel, and guests.
• Prepare and implement annual sales plans, monthly reports, goals, and marketing budgets.
• Develop rates, group ceilings, and deployment strategies using competitive data, demand analysis, and mix management.
• Direct all solicitation and promotional activities.
• Participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings.
• Conduct meetings such as staff, daily business review, and revenue management.
• Implement policies and procedures for the Sales Department, ensuring compliance with company standards on quality of products and services.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance evaluation, reward, discipline, and conflict resolution for associates.
• Ensure excellent guest satisfaction through service delivery.
